A new group of a promising local musical group around the town came to our studio and checked if they can record their first ever album. Of course this is what our business is for so we set their schedule. Usually we just let groups of musician do their thing inside the studio; setup their musical instruments and operate the machines. We left them and noticed that 40 minutes had passed yet they have not started so we went inside. To our surprise them have not setup everything alright. The interface was not even turned on. My husband came in for a little tutorial on setting up the machine and devices. An interface is required if you plan on recording vocals or instruments at home or in a studio.

This interface has not let us done when fixing delays between playing your instrument and hearing it when recording, with a direct monitor output. Overdubbing is complicated, if not unattainable when your interface has an issue with latency, so this is a very nice feature to have.
We planned on getting a spare and was delighted to find the focusrite scarlett 2i4 at guitar center. So there after a short demo my husband asked them to setup the machines and devices themselves so they can just go straight to it every time they come around our studio for recordings.
